A blackout of Gray Television stations on Dish Network systems has been averted, with the two companies coming to terms at the 11th hour. B&C reports that Dish and Gray reached a retransmission consent agreement “in principle” Tuesday night that will keep all of Gray’s stations on the satellite company’s systems.
The companies did not disclose terms of the agreement.
The accord was reached just one day after Gray issued a public statement about the dispute, warning that Dish was about to drop Gray — and its 99 separate program streams — when the existing pact expired at 7 p.m. ET on Tuesday, Jan. 17.
