One of the regulars on ABC’s “Good Morning America” is headed to prime time to host a new one-hour series on the network, “People Icons,” from ABC News and Time Inc.’s People. “GMA” co-anchor Lara Spencer will host the limited series, which premieres Tuesday, March 7.

The premiere installment of the weekly series, “Celebrity Love Stories,” looks at high-profile romances including Prince William and Kate, Beyoncé and Jay-Z, the Obamas and Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton.

Subsequent episodes will focus on real-life heroes, icons who left us too soon, and men who have been named People’s “Sexiest Man Alive.”
