‘GMA’ Co-Anchor to Host New Prime-Time Series

One of the regulars on ABC’s “Good Morning America” is headed to prime time to host a new one-hour series on the network, “People Icons,” from ABC News and Time Inc.’s People. “GMA” co-anchor Lara Spencer will host the limited series, which premieres Tuesday, March 7.

The premiere installment of the weekly series, “Celebrity Love Stories,” looks at high-profile romances including Prince William and Kate, Beyoncé and Jay-Z, the Obamas and Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton.

Subsequent episodes will focus on real-life heroes, icons who left us too soon, and men who have been named People’s “Sexiest Man Alive.”

  3. because we all who have busy, productive lives need yet another show to tell us
    how fabulous all of these “celebrities” are? How about some real news?
