A movie that’s still in the pipeline is such a big deal that even the official trailer for the movie has its own teaser. Warner Bros. Pictures released the “Trailer Tease” today for the Official Trailer — which comes out in three days — for “Blade Runner 2049.”

The movie, which takes place 30 years after the events of the original “Blade Runner,” stars Ryan Gosling, Harrison Ford, Ana de Armas, Sylvia Hoeks, Robin Wright, Mackenzie Davis, Carla Juri, Lennie James, with Dave Bautista and Jared Leto. The original 1982 movie, starring Ford and Rutger Hauer and directed by Ridley Scott, is considered a classic of neo-noir science fiction.

“Thirty years after the events of the first film, a new blade runner, LAPD Officer K (Ryan Gosling), unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what’s left of society into chaos,” Warner Bros. says in material accompanying the “Trailer Tease.” “K’s discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former LAPD blade runner who has been missing for 30 years.”

“Blade Runner 2049,” directed by Denis Villeneuve, is due out in October.
