Comedian Bill Cosby, who is currently on trial in Pennsylvania on sexual assault charges, may testify at the trial after all, according to media reports. Cosby’s team has previously said he would not take the stand.
NBC News reports that Cosby’s publicist, Andrew Wyatt, suggested today that it’s possible Cosby will testify.
“Nothing’s ever off the table,” Wyatt is quoted saying. “We are weighing all our options.”
The comment comes after Cosby’s accuser in the case, Andrea Constand, provided powerful testimony this week, NBC News notes.
“So far, jurors have only heard Cosby through transcripts of a police interview, civil deposition and a phone call that Constand’s mother recorded,” the report adds.
