A TV series from mega-producer Dick Wolf that lasted just three seasons in its first incarnation is coming back to life. “Cold Justice,” which originally aired on TNT from 2013-2015, will be back on the air starting Saturday, July 22, on Oxygen.
The show is a departure from Wolf’s procedural dramas such as the “Law & Order” and “Chicago” franchises. “Cold Justice” is a real-life crime series examining murder cases that have been wallowing for years without being solved.
Former prosecutor Kelly Siegler leads a team of investigators who reopen the cases with the cooperation of local law enforcement. Wolf remains on board as an executive producer.
Oxygen announced it had acquired the show several months ago, but did not unveil formal broadcast plans until this month. Click here for details and quotes in today’s announcement from Oxygen.
