HBO’s upcoming Barry Levinson movie about the Penn State child sexual abuse scandal will have Al Pacino in the key role of legendary football coach Joe Paterno.

The film is currently untitled. Variety quotes the logline for the movie reading: “After becoming the winningest coach in college football history, Joe Paterno is embroiled in Penn State’s Jerry Sandusky sexual abuse scandal, challenging his legacy and forcing him to face questions of institutional failure on behalf of the victims.”

A report on the Sandusky scandal in 2012 concluded that Paterno and other university officials were aware of Sandusky’s misbehavior but looked the other way.
