R&B singer and actress Brandy Norwood was hospitalized today after she became ill on a plane at LAX, KABC-TV reports.
“Officers and firefighter-paramedics responded about 7 a.m. to a report of a person who was ‘unconscious or almost unconscious’ shortly after boarding a Delta Airlines plane, according to Los Angeles World Airports police,” the story reports. “The aircraft, bound for New York’s JFK International Airport, had not yet departed the gate when Delta employees called authorities.”
Brandy reportedly regained consciousness by the time she was being assisted onto the jetway. Her condition was not reported.
Along with her singing career, Brandy is known for her work on TV shows including “Moesha,” where she played the title role from 1996-2001.
