Comedian and TV icon Bill Cosby will be retried on sexual assault charges in Pennsylvania, with his new trial set for Nov. 6, the AP reports. The announcement comes after the jury deadlocked in his previous trial, with the judge declaring a mistrial on June 17.

A lawyer for Andrea Constand, Cosby’s accuser, said Constand — who testified for seven hours over two days in the previous trial — is prepared to confront Cosby again.

“She will be absolutely ready,” said Dolores Troiani, Constand’s lawyer. “She wants to see justice done and she wants to see this through. She was in the courtroom (after the deadlock) comforting everyone else.”

Cosby is accused of drugging and molesting Constand more than a decade ago.

  1. They will loose again. They are just trying to harass and discredit Cosby. I thought the statue of limitation takes effect after so long.

  2. This is a waste of taxpayers dollars. Even if they get a conviction he will be on parole during years of appeal. Then if he loses the appeal, with his age and health he will get house arrest. The first trial embarrassed him and left little doubt of his a activities through his own previous testimony. If he dares to actually go on a tour, Gloria Allred and her activist friends will make him more miserable than he would have been in jail. Spend the money going after the Opiod pushers.
