TV icon Carol Burnett is returning with a new series, with the announcement Monday that the longtime star of “The Carol Burnett Show” is readying an unscripted comedy program for Netflix.

“A Little Help,” coming in 2018, will feature discussions with a panel of youngsters ages 4-8 examining generational differences.

“In each of the 12 half-hour episodes, both celebrities and everyday people will bring their real-life issues to a gaggle of kids who dish back hilarious, hard-hitting guidance — all in front of a live studio audience,” Netflix says in Monday’s announcement.

Said the 84-year-old Burnett: “Someone once asked me how old I am inside. I thought about it, and came up with, ‘I’m about eight.’ So it’s going to be a lot of fun playing with kids my age.”

Added Bela Bajaria, VP of Content Acquisition for Netflix: “We’re thrilled Carol is bringing her unique sensibilities to Netflix. Carol is truly a legend in the entertainment industry with unprecedented success and fandom across TV, film and the stage, and we are both honored and excited to work with her.”

The Netflix Original is produced by dick clark productions.

  1. Well, let’s rip off “Juvenile Jury”. Never thought anyone would steal from JACK BARRY of all people.

  2. More like “People Are Funny” where Art Linkletter got laughs from conversing with kids.
