The death of a former contestant on the ABC show “The Bachelorette” who died in May at age 31 was determined to have been caused by “multiple drug toxicity,” according to the autopsy report. Us Weekly reports that cocaine, heroin, Clonazepam and Gabapentin were found in the system of Michael Nance.
Nance’s death was ruled to be an accident.
According to the autopsy report from the Travis County, Texas, Office of the Medical Examiner, Nance had a history of opiate abuse and anxiety, Us notes.
On May 29, “he was found unresponsive on the bathroom floor of a group home near, Austin, Texas, and police were dispatched to the scene around 2:10 a.m.,” Us reports. “When emergency personnel arrived to the scene, they attempted to resuscitate him. He was officially pronounced dead at 2:54 a.m.”
Nance appeared on “The Bachelorette” in 2012, when Emily Maynard was the Bachelorette. He was sent home in week four.
The 4 conventional broadcast networks are expediting their own demise. Maybe with the exception of a few shows on CBS, there is a complete lack of scripted TV shows that are worth watching. The abysmal ratings prove this point. And there is no long-term future for any network with garbage, low-cost reality shows that appeal strictly to low-income morons. Once the Big Streaming Players like Amazon and Netflix start snatching the NFL Football rights, it will be lights out for the broadcast networks.
