CNBC Sets Ratings Mark, Unveils Lineup of New Originals

CNBC took the wraps off plans for the 2017-18 season, with a batch of new original programs in the pipeline. The channel also announced that it just had its most-watched July prime time in adults 18-49 and adults 18-34 and is on pace for its fourth consecutive year of growth in young adults.

Coming in the fall will be “The Job Interview,” a new unscripted series premiering Wednesday, Oct. 25. The show, which examines real-world job interviews, joins a fall lineup featuring favorites such as “Secret Lives of the Super Rich,” premiering Thursday, Sept. 28; “Adventure Capitalists,” returning Tuesday, Oct. 10; and “The Profit,” bowing Tuesday, Nov. 21.

Returning in 2018 are “Billion Dollar Buyer,” “The Deed,” “The Deed: Chicago” and “American Greed.”

The cable channel has two new programs in development, with the working titles “Empires of New York” and “Buy Your Own Business.”
