Discovery Takes Wraps Off Fall Schedule

Discovery Channel unveiled a slate of original programming for fall, including the channel’s top-rated show, “Gold Rush,” which returns Friday, Oct. 13.

New programs include “The Bush League” (working title), about the growing bushcraft movement, which premieres this fall; and “Killing Fields Isle of Wight” (working title), about isolated areas in the U.S. where dozens of deaths remain mysteries, also premiering this fall.

Also on tap are the new movie “Hot Grease,” the all-new special “American Made Inventors” and new shows including “Gear Dogs,” “Street Justice: The Bronx” and “Escobar’s Millions” (working title).

Returning shows include “Edge of Alaska,” which will air its final season, and “Moonshiners,” “Homestead Rescue,” “Street Outlaws,” “Cash Cab” and “Fast N’ Loud,” which are all among the shows returning this fall.

A special episode of “Deadliest Catch,” “Johnathan Hillstrand Legacy,” is scheduled for Sept. 5, and the Motor Monday series “Diesel Brothers” returns Sept. 4.
