New TV Documentary Series Announced

A new series of documentaries to launch this fall, airing on Monday nights, will examine a range of topics from food waste to the story of three U.S. hikers who were captured while on an outing in Northern Iraqi Kurdistan and were held by the Iraqi government for two years.

Starz announced plans for the series today. The series launches Sept. 18 with “The Age of Consequences,” about climate change, resource scarcity, migration, national security and global stability. “3 Hikers” premieres Oct. 9.

Other docs include “All Governments Lie: Truth, Deception, and the Spirit of I.F. Stone,” “Woman on Fire” and “Tickling Giants — The Arab Spring in Egypt.”
