Cable Channel Wraps August as No. 1 in Key Demos

A cable channel that may not be the first one that comes to mind just announced that it had its best August ever, wrapping the month at No. 1 in some of its target demos. Investigation Discovery announced that it ranks as the top ad-supported cable network in total day delivery in both persons 25-54 and women 25-54, year to date, based on Nielsen Live+3 Day data.

“For prime delivery year-to-date and in August, ID continued to hold a position as a top 5 ad-supported cable network among W25-54, and is now in the top 10 for P2+,” the channel added. “ID had its best August ever in prime and total day across all key demos, delivering more than 1M P2+ in prime.”

The channel noted that August 2017 also marked 27 consecutive months of growth in year-over-year prime-time delivery among P25-54.
