TBS is launching a new chapter in its evolution with an announcement this week touting the cable channel’s move into unscripted.

The announcement focuses on two shows launching Oct. 24: “Snoop Dogg Presents The Joker’s Wild” and “Drop the Mic.”

Michael Bloom, senior vice president of unscripted and special event programming for TBS and TNT, says the two new shows “further redefine what audiences have come to expect from TBS and perfectly complement each other for an hour-long block of high energy, competitive fun. The passion and comedic creativity behind each show is infectious and sure to generate weekly surprises for everyone.”

The launch of “Snoop Dogg Presents The Joker’s Wild” will be accompanied by digital extensions of the show, including the docuseries “Gettin’ Wild with Snoop Dogg” and other initiatives. (Click here for details.)

“Drop the Mic” is based on the popular segment from CBS’s “The Late Late Show with James Corden,” with the TBS series to be hosted by Method Man and Hailey Baldwin.
