David Letterman will be back on late-night television later this month, with the longtime CBS “Late Show” host booking an appearance on ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live.” The booking is part of a visit by Kimmel to Brooklyn for five shows starting Monday, Oct. 16.

ABC announced that Billy Joel, Tracy Morgan, Amy Schumer and Howard Stern will also be on the show during the trip, along with musical guests LCD Soundsystem and Cardi B. The run will also feature a special performance from the Tidal X show at Barclays Center.

“Jimmy Kimmel Live: Back to Brooklyn” will tape before a live audience from the Brooklyn Academy of Music’s Howard Gilman Opera House.

“This will be the third time Kimmel and his show have broadcast from BAM,” ABC noted. “Paul Shaffer, former bandleader on ‘Late Show with David Letterman,’ is confirmed to sit in with the house band, Cleto and The Cletones, each night. Additional guests and musical performances will be announced soon.”

  1. “Good Stuffffff,” as Johnny Carson used to say. Way to go Jimmy and team!
I will not even begin to speculate if Stephen will feel snubbed or not….LOL…

  2. Great. Two bitter lefties talking to each other in the echo chamber. Have fun Jimmy, I will not be watching.
