Anderson Cooper’s Twitter Account Hacked, Says CNN

Dec 13, 2017  •  Post A Comment

CNN is saying Anderson Cooper’s Twitter account was hacked, after a tweet appeared on the account calling Donald Trump a “tool” and a “pathetic loser” following the win by Alabama Democrat Doug Jones in Tuesday’s Senate election.

The tweet has since been deleted.

The AP reports: “The cable network tweeted early Wednesday that ‘someone gained access’ to Anderson’s account and sent the tweet to the president. ‘We’re working with Twitter to secure the account,’ it said.”

“Cooper in his own tweet says he woke up to find out ‘someone gained access’ to his account,” the AP report adds. “He says he has ‘not sent a tweet in days or replied to any tweets.’”

The AP adds: “The apparently rogue tweet came in response to President Donald Trump explaining why Republican Roy Moore wasn’t able to win the race. ‘Oh, really? You endorsed him tool! Pathetic loser,’ read the tweet.”

  1. Yup ! That’s what HAD to have happened. As others have pointed out on twitter: Cooper’s assistant just happened to leave the phone in an unsecured place while working out at “the gym” and SOMEBODY who just happened to know the assistant’s password and stuff, went right to the President’s tweet and answered. Yup ! That’s about as airtight an alibi as you’re EVER going to find Cooper. Yes-Sir-eee !!
