A power outage hit Disneyland this morning, stranding riders on attractions in the Southern California theme park’s Toontown and Fantasyland, The Los Angeles Times reports.

The outage hit during the park’s busy holiday season. Guests had to be escorted from rides, according to officials, who did not indicate the number of guests who were impacted.

“A malfunction with one of the property’s transformers caused the outage about 11 a.m. and knocked out power to about a dozen rides between the two areas of the park, a Disneyland spokesperson said,” The Times reports, adding: “A majority of the rides were back online by noon, the official said. There was no estimate when the rest would be back online.”

Park visitors were tweeting about their experience — you can see one example below.

Disneyland was not expected to provide refunds, according to a park spokesperson cited by The Times.
