AMC Networks named an interim replacement for Chris Hardwick as host of its shows “The Walking Dead” and “Talking Dead” while the company looks into sexual assault allegations against Hardwick.

The company announced late last week that Yvette Nicole Brown is the franchise’s interim guest host. Brown is initially set to host “The Walking Dead Season 9 Preview Special” on Aug. 5, along with the Aug. 12 edition of “Talking Dead.”

Brown, who appeared on NBC’s “Community,” has also taken on the assignment of filling in for Hardwick as the moderator of “Walking Dead” panels at San Diego Comic-Con.

The AP reports: “Hardwick has acknowledged that an online post by his ex-girlfriend Chloe Dykstra alleging she had been sexually assaulted and emotionally abused referred to him. He has denied the allegations but has said the couple’s three-year relationship was imperfect and included arguments.”

  1. Guilty until proven innocent. The accusation is the conviction. Shame.

  2. Chris Harwick is an Anti-Christian pos. He said something so offensive about the Lord Jesus Christ that I vowed never to watch anything he ever does! He deserves all of this and more!
