Before the former ABC sitcom “Last Man Standing” resurfaces on Fox, the Baxter family will be getting two new members. TVLine reports that Molly Ephraim, who played Tim Allen’s onscreen daughter Mandy, and Flynn Morrison, who played his grandson Boyd, opted not to return for what will be the show’s seventh season.

The two roles are in the process of being recast, the story reports.

“Kaitlyn Dever, who plays daughter Eve, remains in negotiations to return on a recurring basis,” TVLine notes, adding: “Among the series regulars confirmed to rejoin leading Allen in Season 7 are Nancy Travis (as wife Vanessa), Amanda Fuller (eldest daughter Kristin), Jonathan Adams (Chuck), Christoph Sanders (Kyle), Jordan Masterson (Ryan) and Hector Elizondo (Ed).”

The report notes that the comedy series will be back in the old time slot it had on ABC, Fridays at 8 p.m., when it returns Sept. 28 on Fox.

  1. Fucking hate that show

  2. You are what’s wrong with America unfortunately – it’s a damn sitcom

  3. I am a Canadian Viewer and love the show, but please do not let the Ryan character become an American. .At this time no Canadian would want to be American. We may be a polite, kind, and unassuming society but we do not appreciate the disrespect, and insults of the current president.
