A five-day marathon of the original “X-Files” TV series, along with the two feature films, will kick off in a couple of weeks in celebration of the show’s 25th anniversary.

The marathon on BBC America will run Monday, Sept. 10, through Friday, Sept. 14, and will include episodes from seasons one through nine.

“Fans can follow Mulder (David Duchovny) and Scully (Gillian Anderson) from the very beginning, reliving the best cases, best monsters, and best moments of UST (unresolved sexual tension),” BBC America says in its announcement.

The feature films “The X-Files: I Want to Believe” and “The X-Files: Fight the Future” will be included.

  1. Grrrr – how come they run only 2 parts of a 3-part Season 2/3 set of episodes – no Season 3 Episode 2 – instead re-running the lightning one that’s already on several times before – So Frustrating!!! They’ve done this before!
