It’s always fair weather when everyone’s favorite meteorologist appears on Broadway.

Al Roker will make his singing debut in New York’s famous theatre district in the long-running hit “Waitress” this fall, according to the New York Post.

“From Oct. 5 through Nov. 11, he’ll play Ol’ Joe, the gruff, secretly sweet owner of the diner at the center of the story,” the newspaper says, adding, “This isn’t Roker’s first time on Broadway. In 2003, he slipped into the [non-singing] role of Mystery Guest in the comedy ‘The Play What I Wrote.’”

  1. He’s not mine, nor is he a meteorologist. He’s an annoying attention freak with very thin skin. That being said, hopefuuly he’ll love the gig so much he’ll quit his day job.
