U.S. TV Personality to Be Deported

A television personality who was a part of a popular reality series is being deported from the U.S. The New York Post’s Page Six reports that Joe Giudice, who appeared along with his wife, Teresa Giudice, on Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of New Jersey,” has been ordered to return to his native Italy.

Joe Giudice is currently serving a 41-month prison term on fraud charges at FCI Allenwood in Pennsylvania, where he’s due to be released on March 14, 2019, according to Bureau of Prisons records, the story reports. He is scheduled to be deported upon his release.

He has 30 days to file an appeal of the decision.

Joe and Teresa Giudice, both 46, pleaded guilty to 41 counts of fraud in 2014. Teresa served 11 months at FCI Danbury in 2015.
