Donald Trump announced who his nominee will be for ambassador to the United Nations, with former Fox News personality Heather Nauert getting the nod. Trump confirmed the move Friday morning, according to media reports.

Nauert is currently working as State Department spokesperson, a post she has held since April 2017. She was formerly a news presenter on Fox News Channel’s “Fox & Friends,” and previously worked as a correspondent for ABC News, appearing on “Good Morning America” and other programs.

Nauert will replace Nikki Haley as U.N. Ambassador, following Haley’s announcement in October that she would be exiting the position at the end of this year. Nauert had been widely expected to receive the nomination since Haley’s announcement.

Trump also confirmed Friday morning that he will nominate William Barr, who served as Attorney General under President George H.W. Bush, to succeed Jeff Sessions as Attorney General.
