FX Networks lead the Golden Globe TV nominations with 10, followed by HBO and Amazon Prime Video, with nine nominations each.
The nominees were announced this morning at the Beverly Hilton hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Included in the announcement was information about a new award that will be the television equivalent of its current Golden Globe Cecil B. DeMille Award.
According to the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, which runs the Golden Globes, “Honorees [for the new award] will be selected based on their outstanding accomplishments, as well as the impact and influence that their television career has had on the industry and audiences. The importance of this presentation is underscored by the fact that this is the first special achievement award of its kind since the DeMille Award was originally presented in 1952.”
The name of the new award, and its first recipient, will be announced soon.
All of the Golden Globes winners will be announced on Sunday, Jan. 6 during a live broadcast on NBC.
