GroupM, the media investment group of WPP, has named a new CEO for North America, elevating Tim Castree to the post.
“Castree remains a member of GroupM’s global executive committee and will continue his work with the Wavemaker leadership team to deliver their operating plan while the search for a new global Wavemaker leader is conducted,” GroupM noted in its announcement.
The announcement adds: “Once his transition to the North America role is complete, Castree will be charged with further improving the competitiveness of the business and delivery to clients in the US and Canada.”
GroupM’s agencies include Mindshare, MediaCom, Wavemaker, Essence, m/Six and Xaxis.
Castree will report to GroupM’s Global CEO, Kelly Clark.
