The end game is in place for a series that has become a fixture of the TV drama landscape since it premiered on USA Network in 2011. The cable channel announced today that “Suits” will wrap after a 10-episode ninth season.

The legal drama, from UCP and creator/executive producer Aaron Korsh, returns tonight, Wednesday, Jan. 23, for its season eight midseason premiere.

Korsh thanked fans in a statement released today about the show’s final season, which you can read in full by clicking here.

“‘Suits’ began when legendary hotshot lawyer Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) took a gamble by hiring Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams), a brilliant, but not-so-legitimate college dropout, as an associate at his prolific Manhattan law firm,” USA Network notes. “Over several seasons, this dynamic duo along with Jessica Pearson (Gina Torres), Louis Litt (Rick Hoffman), Donna Paulsen (Sarah Rafferty), and Rachel Zane (Meghan Markle), became a family intertwined in one another’s triumphs and tribulations, including countless corporate takeovers, a wild prison storyline, a shocking disbarring and a magical wedding.”
