A new show that is currently broadcast television’s top breakout hit was just picked up for a second season, with Fox announcing the renewal for “The Masked Singer.”

Fox will wrap up the show’s freshman run with a special two-hour finale on Wednesday, Feb. 27. A new episode of the show airs tonight, Jan. 30.

Fox said the show had the highest-rated unscripted debut on any network in more than seven years, with better than 17 million multiplatform viewers to date. “The Masked Singer” is reportedly this season’s No. 1 new series and No. 1 unscripted show.
