Late-night host Trevor Noah offered a pointed commentary on the Jussie Smollett assault story on Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show with Trevor Noah,” saying Smollett’s version of the story “doesn’t seem to line up with what’s happening.”

He also said, “If I was Trump, this is a home run in my world,” adding that people “jumped on board before they waited to see what it was about.”
