A drama series that was recently renewed is looking for a new showrunner after the co-creator announced he’s stepping away from day-to-day duties on the show. The Hollywood Reporter’s Live Feed reports that Carlton Cuse will stay on as an executive producer on the series, Amazon’s “Jack Ryan.”
The show, which premiered in August 2018 after being in the works for about four years, was picked up for a third season last month. Cuse, the former “Lost” and “Bates Motel” boss, co-created ‘Jack Ryan’ for TV with Graham Roland, who remains an executive producer.
“Cuse … will not lack for things to do after scaling back on ‘Jack Ryan’: He’s the co-showrunner of the graphic-novel adaptation ‘Locke & Key’ at Netflix, which has had its own long journey through development, and has a rich overall deal at ABC Studios,” THR notes.
