A new comedy project brings together the impressive track records of “Will & Grace” star Sean Hayes, “Parks and Recreation” creator Mike Schur and “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” writer Gabe Liedman.
Netflix announced plans today for “Q-Force,” a half-hour adult animated comedy produced by Universal Television in association with Hazy Mills, Fremulon and 3 Arts Entertainment. The show has a 10-episode order.
Here’s the logline released today by the streamer: “Written by Gabe Liedman, ‘Q-Force’ is a half-hour, animated comedy about a handsome secret agent and his team of fellow LGBTQ superspies. Constantly underestimated by their colleagues, the members of Q-Force have to prove themselves time and again as they embark on extraordinary professional (and personal) adventures.”
Liedman is also showrunner and executive producer, and Schur, whose other credentials include “The Office,” “The Good Place” and “Brooklyn Nine-Nine,” is executive producer. Hayes, Todd Milliner and David Miner also executive produce.
