Hilaria Baldwin, the wife of actor Alec Baldwin, confirmed the news today that she has suffered a miscarriage. Baldwin broke the news to her followers on Instagram.

“There was no heartbeat today at my scan…so it’s over,” she wrote, adding: But I have some pretty strong and amazing heartbeats right here.” The message ran with a photo of the couple and their children, which you can see below.

“I am surrounded by such love and I feel so fortunate,” she added. “Thank you all for listening, for your support, and for sharing your own personal stories. We are stronger together…I hope this conversation continues to grow and that we stick together through both the beautiful and challenging moments in life. Much love and appreciation to all of you.”

Hilaria Baldwin, 35, first shared the news last week that she was “likely experiencing a miscarriage.”
