May 13, 2019  •  Post A Comment

ABC pulled the plug on a drama series in what is said to be the network’s final decision on its scripted programs for the 2019-2020 season. The network canceled the freshman series “Whiskey Cavalier,” which stars Scott Foley, Lauren Cohan, Ana Ortiz, Tyler James Williams and Vir Das.

The show still has two episodes left to air in season one, which will reportedly air as scheduled on May 15 and 22.

Producer Warner Bros. Television is reportedly in talks with other networks to try to find a new home for the comedic drama series, which tracks the activities of FBI agent Will Chase (Foley).

Foley and others involved with the show responded to news of the show’s cancellation on Twitter. You can see Foley’s tweet below.
