ABC pulled the plug on a drama series in what is said to be the network’s final decision on its scripted programs for the 2019-2020 season. The network canceled the freshman series “Whiskey Cavalier,” which stars Scott Foley, Lauren Cohan, Ana Ortiz, Tyler James Williams and Vir Das.

The show still has two episodes left to air in season one, which will reportedly air as scheduled on May 15 and 22.

Producer Warner Bros. Television is reportedly in talks with other networks to try to find a new home for the comedic drama series, which tracks the activities of FBI agent Will Chase (Foley).

Foley and others involved with the show responded to news of the show’s cancellation on Twitter. You can see Foley’s tweet below.

  2. WTF!..ABC? You tease us with a few episodes get us all hot and bothered by good action combined with good comedy, then you take it away.
I watched every episode and enjoyed every one.
This why I detest modern network TV since the bean counters took over if a viewer is not into cheap ass reality tv they are SOL.
