A production that recently premiered on Netflix is getting a strong reaction from viewers, but it probably isn’t quite what the people behind it were going for.

The horror film “The Perfection,” which debuted on the streaming service on May 24, is said to be causing viewers to experience headaches, nausea and even vomiting.

You can watch the official trailer below — if you dare.

The New York Post reports that viewers have been taking to social media to report their reactions to the movie. “The perfection on netflix is SICK… in a bad way ugh my body can’t move and i feel like puking,” wrote one Twitter user.

Another wrote: “I got migraine just by watching The Perfection on netflix. I wanna vomit.”

The movie stars Allison Williams as Charlotte and Logan Browning as Lizzie, two young musicians on a road trip in China.

“In the back of an old-school bus, Lizzie projectile vomits, leaving puke smeared across the window,” The Post reports. “The next shot shows it crawling with maggots. After Lizzie is struck by diarrhea on board, the pair is thrown off the bus, after which Lizzie once again throws up bug-infested bile.”

Here’s a taste …

  1. All publicity is good publicity. More people are going to watch this and talk about than could have been expected. Especially, those under 30.

  2. Looks like a body horror/Black Swan mashup.
