The “Penny Dreadful” sequel is rounding out its cast, and one of the series regulars will be “Mad Men” alum Michael Gladis.

In “Mad Men,” Gladis played the bearded, pipe-smoking Paul Kinsey.

Also signing up for the Showtime series, “Penny Dreadful: City of Angels,” is Lorenza Izzo, who will recur in the key role of Santa Muerte.

The series stars Natalie Dormer, Daniel Zovatto, Kerry Bishé, Adriana Barraza, Rory Kinnear, Jessica Garza, Johnathan Nieves and Nathan Lane. Adam Rodriguez, Thomas Kretschmann, Dominic Sherwood and Ethan Peck will all have recurring roles.

Gladis will play will play Councilman Charlton Townsend, the ambitious head of the L.A. City Council’s Transportation Committee and a man of killer instincts and ruthless political wiles.
