Beth Chapman, the wife of TV bounty hunter Duane “Dog” Chapman and one of the stars of the long-running A&E reality show “Dog the Bounty Hunter,” is not expected to recover and leave the hospital, TMZ reports.
As we reported Monday, Chapman, 51, was placed in a medically induced coma in Honolulu as she continues a long battle with cancer.
TMZ cites family sources saying Chapman’s family is preparing for the worst.
“We’ve learned Beth’s mother has flown from the mainland to Hawaii to be by her daughter’s side,” TMZ reports. “Her children and grandchildren — many of whom live in Hawaii — are also gathering at Beth’s bedside.”
Chapman, who reportedly has stage 4 lung cancer, was hospitalized Saturday after she experienced difficulty breathing.
“Family sources say there’s not a lot that can be done for Beth … at this point, and the family is making medical decisions with the help of her doctors,” TMZ reports.
