The best way to understand what to expect in the new Bob Odenkirk-Rosa Salazar series is to watch the clip released over the weekend by Amazon Prime Video, which you can see below.

“Are we stuck in a loop or is there more to life?” Amazon asks in promotional material accompanying the release of the official trailer for the genre-bending “Undone,” which premieres Sept. 13.

The animated series “explores the elastic nature of reality through its central character Alma [Salazar], a 28-year-old living in San Antonio, Texas,” Amazon adds. “After getting into a car accident and nearly dying, Alma finds she has a new relationship to time. She develops this new ability in order to find out the truth about her father’s death.”

Salazar has been featured in TV shows including “American Horror Story: Murder House” and “Parenthood,” while Odenkirk has most recently had tour-de-force performances in “Breaking Bad” and “Better Call Saul.”
