Two well-known comedians were injured in a car crash while they were just arriving for a scheduled performance in Atlanta. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that Bobcat Goldthwait and Dana Gould suffered minor injuries in the incident.

Their Thursday night show at the Relapse Comedy Theatre was canceled following the two-vehicle collision outside the theater.

“Gould and Goldthwait’s driver failed to yield while turning left and struck another car,” the publication reports, citing Officer TaSheena Brown. “The comedians were taken to Grady Memorial Hospital with minor injuries, and their driver was cited for traffic violations and driving on a suspended license. The driver of the other vehicle complained of leg pain, but declined medical treatment, Brown said.”

The report notes that Gould and Goldthwait’s show, which is being called “The Show With Two Heads Live,” had been expected to be taped along with a performance in Asheville, N.C., for a potential special.
