ABC will honor one of its iconic shows with a special retrospective marking the show’s 30th anniversary. The network announced plans Thursday for “AFV: America, This Is You!,” a look back at 30 years of “America’s Funniest Home Videos.”

The special will air Sunday, Dec. 8. It can also be viewed the following day on ABC.com, the ABC app and Hulu.

“The special retrospective will take a closer look at the history of the iconic series, including how it originated, the evolution over 30 seasons and its significant influence on pop culture, as well as how changes in technology impacted the show,” ABC said in today’s announcement. “Additionally, the episode will unlock some of the most memorable video clips in ‘AFV’s’ coveted vault, revealing interviews with past contestants all grown up and how their appearances affected their lives. Audiences can also expect to see some familiar faces, including current host Alfonso Ribeiro and former hosts Bob Saget and Tom Bergeron, reminiscing about ‘AFV’s’ legacy and their individual styles of hosting.”

Vin Di Bona, Michele Nasraway and Jonathan Buss are executive producing the special.

Hosted by Alfonso Ribeiro, “America’s Funniest Home Videos” is produced by Vin Di Bona Productions. The series airs new episodes Sundays from 7:00-8:00 p.m. on ABC. Vin Di Bona and Michele Nasraway serve as executive producers.
