‘Sopranos’ Actress Tackles Real-World Murders

An actress who was a key player on the mob drama “The Sopranos” is now looking into real-world cases of slain women. HLN today announced plans for “The Dead Wives Club,” hosted by Lorraine Bracco, who played Tony Soprano’s psychiatrist, Dr. Jennifer Melfi, on the HBO series.

Bracco’s new HLN show, which premieres Sunday, Oct. 20, launches with a 90-minute episode, “The Mysterious Death of Natalie Wood.” Subsequent installments in the six-episode series include “The Bookie’s Wife,” “Vendetta,” “The Carjacking” and “Cold Case Shocker.”
