AMC, which has been developing programs under its “scripts-to-series” model, just greenlighted two new series, “61st Street” and “Kevin Can F**k Himself.”

The channel’s “scripts-to-series” model opens writers’ rooms to develop potential series that can move straight to series. Worldwide sales of both shows are being managed by AMC Studios Content Distribution.

“61st Street” was ordered as a two-season television event series with eight episodes per season. The show comes from Peter Moffat and is executive produced by Michael B. Jordan and Alana Mayo of Outlier Society.

“Kevin Can F**k Himself” comes from Valerie Armstrong and executive producers Rashida Jones, Will McCormack And Craig DiGregorio.
