Lady Gaga Falls Off Stage — and One of Her Fans Is Being Blamed

Lady Gaga fell off the stage in the midst of a performance Thursday night during her “Enigma” show, part of her residency at Park MGM in Las Vegas. The incident occurred after the singer invited a fan, identified as Jack, onstage with her to dance.

Nobody was hurt in the incident, according to media reports, but video quickly began circulating — you can watch a clip below that was posted to Twitter — and other Gaga fans began blaming Jack for the accident.

“Jack looked like he didn’t want to let go when Gaga gave him a hug, so she obliged and decided to jump up and wrap her legs around his waist … and that turned out to be a very bad choice,” TMZ reports. “After a few little hops and twists, everyone’s laughs and cheers turned to gasps as Jack took a misstep off the right side of the elevated stage and went tumbling off … still holding on to the star of the show.

“The 2 crashed hard, and it looked like Jack came down on top of Gaga.”

Gaga reportedly told the crowd she was fine and continued with the show, including bringing Jack back up to sit with her on the piano bench during “Million Reasons.”

Lady Gaga is quoted telling Jack: “Could you promise me something? Could you forgive yourself right now for what just happened? … I think that’s amazing. We f****g love each other so much we fell off the damn stage.”

Even so, Jack came under fire on social media, with Lady Gaga’s fans blaming him for the incident.

He later responded to the criticism, with TMZ quoting him saying: “Lady Gaga herself has told people to stop with the negative comments. … she told me herself I was not to blame and so did multiple members of [her] team.”

He also denied accusations that he was drunk.
