Megyn Kelly Goes After NBC

Oct 17, 2019  •  Post A Comment

“Megyn Kelly unloaded on her former employer on Wednesday night, using a rare television appearance to chide NBC’s handling of sexual misconduct claims made against former host Matt Lauer,” THR reports, citing Kelly’s appearance on Fox News’ “Tucker Carlson Tonight.”

The appearance was Kelly’s first booking since she exited NBC News in January. She had a turbulent run at NBC, where her attempt at a morning show never caught on. Previously, she was a fixture at Fox News.

“Kelly called on NBC to conduct an outside investigation into claims made against Lauer, who was fired in November 2017, and said the network should release former employees from confidentiality agreements to discuss any misconduct they experienced at the network,” THR reports.

Kelly is quoted telling Carlson: “They haven’t gotten specific about what monies were paid out to whom. Show us the money. They need to release any and all Matt Lauer accusers from their confidentiality agreements.”

Kelly adds: “NBC says they have nothing to hide. Great, let’s not hide anything. Show us all the agreements so we can see which ones pop out, and are they all women? The question is open to whether they put dollars ahead of decency.”

  1. Hahaha. She running back to the guy that shit talked her? They deserve each other. Tucker is a nut job conspiracy theorist.

  2. Desperation can make strange bedfellows. She is desperate to be relevant again and not end up online like O’Reilly and Limbaugh. But all she is doing is spouting the same talking points we have heard over and over about NBC and Lauer.
