MotorTrend unveiled plans today for an all-new reality competition series, marking its first entry in the genre. The series, “Bitchin’ Boot Camp,” will be produced by Fischer Productions.

The series, scheduled to debut exclusively on the MotorTrend App in the first quarter of 2020, stars automotive designer Dave Kindig and Kevin Schiele of the MotorTrend TV series “Bitchin’ Rides.”

“In ‘Bitchin’ Boot Camp,’ eight contestants will compete for one full-time job at Kindig’s world-renowned Kindig-It Design company in Salt Lake City, Utah,” MotorTrend said.

Added Mike Suggett, head of programming and development for MotorTrend Group: “Kindig is at the very top of his profession and ‘Bitchin’ Rides’ is one of our most popular series on MotorTrend TV. We’re making this series for anyone who has ever dreamt of working at the top of the custom car profession, and we invite those who feel they have what it takes to apply today for a place to compete on ‘Bitchin’ Boot Camp.'”

  1. It will be on the Motor Trend app but not a tv series on their own network. Guess we’ll have to settle for more reruns then.
