“The Ellen DeGeneres Show” will begin broadcasting in high-definition with the start of its sixth season on Sept. 8, Broadcasting & Cable reports. “Ellen” will move production from its current NBC Universal studio to Warner Bros.’ new Stage 1 complex in order to support the transition, the newspaper says. The new facility will allow for a tapeless HD production, as well as housing an audience waiting area, “Ellen” store and three stages, the newspaper notes.
