Lauren Lee Smith will join the cast of “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation” as a regular next season, the Hollywood Reporter says. Smith will play a smart, flirtatious and nonconformist CSI hired for the night shift by William Petersen’s character, the newspaper says. Smith fills in the space left by Jorja Fox’s departure, the newspaper notes.
