Neill, Bean, Ackland Join NBC’s ‘Crusoe’

“Crusoe,” NBC’s retelling of Daniel Defoe’s classic “Robinson Crusoe,” has cast Sam Neill, Sean Bean and Joss Ackland, the Hollywood Reporter says. Bean will play Crusoe’s widower father in flashbacks, the newspaper says. Neill also will be featured in flashbacks as a watchful family friend, the newspaper notes.
