Dan Rather filed an amended lawsuit against his former employer CBS News, the Hollywood Reporter says. Rather claims that CBS News’ conduct and labeling of him as “too hot to handle” cost the anchor potential jobs at other news outlets, the newspaper says. CNN, ABC and NBC are among the networks with which Rather claims to have met about possible employment before being rebuffed, the newspaper notes.
